The Therian Discovery Forum's main focus is a safe environment for both scientific and spiritual discussions of therianthropy, and as a safe space for newbies and all others trying to discover their theriotype. Since this is a safe discussion space, there need to be some ground rules. The rules are as follows:
1. There should be no threatening staff or members or swearing at staff or members. Foul language in general should be kept at a minimum.
2. There should be safe, intelligent discussion. No claiming other members are posers without any way to back it up. Along the same lines, do not say someone is wrong in their claim without backing up your argument.
3. Subject content must be appropriate. No graphically sexual or violent discussion. Also there should be no illegal discussion of any sort. If you must talk about drugs, you may argue for their legalization, but back it up with evidence.
4. You must be at least 13 to join this forum. If you are found to be younger than this age, you will be asked to leave this forum until you are old enough.
5. This is NOT a roleplaying forum. We are a serious discussion forum. If you feel the need to roleplay, please go elsewhere.
6. There should be ONE account per person. If you have trouble logging in, please email me at: aumoelooure@gmail.com. If you would like to change your name, feel free to change it, as long as you put your original name in your signature. Along the same lines, do NOT constantly create an account, then delete it, then re-create it again. Failure to follow this rule will eventually result in a warning. After three warnings, is, of course, a ban.
7. Topics should be posted in the correct section. There should be no "IM-ish" posting. In other words, do not ask a member in a thread to come on their instant messenger. That sort of discussion should be kept in PMs.
8. Do not double post. Please make proper use of the "edit" function. If you feel you must post in a topic in which you were the last poster, please allow at least five days in between the two posts to avoid "true" double posting. In journals for the questioning process, double posting is allowed.
9. You must register before you are able to see much of anything or post anything. If you are having any trouble logging in or registering, however, feel free to post in the guest board. This is the only board which you will be able to post in without registering. Rules, Announcements, and Affiliates are still visible. You also will have to post an introduction and be sorted into a member group before you are granted access to the rest of the forum.
10. Remember to use your best grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It makes everything more organized, as well as easier to read and understand.
Remember! Failure to follow rules may result in banning!
After reading the rules, you may now proceed to either register an account, or, if you have already, post an introduction. Welcome to the forum!
